In UK every family gets family allowance per child even if it's a rich family Holland even does the same so even millionaires get paid something towards each kid.

As far as my gestor knows this doesn't exist in Spain. Not a surprise really seeing the way the government is here to business and autónomos and taxes. But is it really true? There's nothing at all for normal people to claim i don't mean the super poor...

I don’t think every family does get it in the UK now . Sorry, just checked, you can claim but if earning over 50k you will be taxed . Also , is it to be assumed by your post that super poor people aren’t “normal “ ?

No idea about family allowance but I think you'd first need to acquire citizenship before becoming entitled to benefits of any sort.Your dig at Spain is uncalled for and if this is how you're starting out I don't rate your chances of staying the course and reaching that milestone.

No family allowance here in Spain that is why you have to prove income levels to look after yourself and family before you get residency.

"immigrants" in England= benefit scroungers

"expats" in Spain looking for benefits= thwarted by Spanish Government looking after Autonomos and businesses, and collecting taxes.

Make your point clearly or don't speak at all imbecile. Here's my point. Holland and UK are rich. Millionaires are rich. They get aid for children. This isn't about unemployed scrounging. Spain hates autónomos by the way so I'm still baffled what you meant by taking care of them...

Hi Arianadandy. Basically there is not this benefit here in Spain. Yes it is available in the UK, however it has been scaled back a lot and probably not everyone you think gets it will. Also take into account you live in Spain, so what's available in any other country is totally irrelevant. If you want to claim family allowance there is one obvious answer. Also to get residency, which I presume you have, did you not have to prove that you would not be a burden on the state with sufficient funds available.

Hello

I presume you  checked out benefit availability &  pre school facilities here in Spain before you moved here?

It's a bit late  to be complaining about the  lack of  both-- and blaming Spain!

Cheers

I am sure someone else will call you on calling someone on here an imbecile.

However I would love to know what statistics you have found to back up your claim that Spain hates people who are self-employed. I have never heard that and I have lived here for decades.

Quite honestly, I think you will be very unhappy in Spain unless you change your attitude.

Cheers, J
