Not sure I have interpreted this correct but, If the OP and his girlfriend were married, the household would then have 2 people, and figures for this show as

2

9.415,28

784,64

Half each figure to get each’s payment and note is significantly lower than one person residing only? (4,707.64 & 392.32 respectively)

Do 2 people, not married but living together, qualify for the lower allowance above???

Morning Stevec61

I would suppose that it’s a bit of the old adage, two can live as cheaply as one. Some expenditure, a mortgage, or, to a large extent, utilities, will remain the same regardless of it being one person or two. That would be my guess

Sorry, I’m not able to answer the second part of your question. 🤪🥂

Yes, but as it is an account for online banking only, there would be a fee for going into the branch.

"All I'm pointing out is that we now have some proper figures to work to, rather than some unvalidated figures with no provenance."

There was provenance from a gestor, Uma of Get Legal in Spain, who was in Alicante, talking directly to the National Police.

"We also have a document produced by the asesors in Extranjería in Alicante, rather than guesses."

No guessing at all, Uma was correct.

"I pointed out that the figure I thought you took to be savings, was in fact annual earnings, so maybe got it wrong by 4 centimos."

If you're going to be sarcastic about me "doing the maths", you should at least get it right yourself.

"It means that others like Peter, instead of aiming for a higher figure 700+ are now looking to prove a much lower income."

Yes, a much lower figure of €500, which I had advised the forum at least a week earlier and which Peter already knew himself, because he's confirmed it for the benefit of others.

"Now, where savings comes into it, I don't know, but perhaps someone else can contact the Extranjería directly and find out, if they aren't happy with what I have produced so far."

I've already posted on this, as advised by Uma - a lump sum of €5,500 per person.

Hi Simon,

"Petti" (sic) is RayD's comments, "You're out of date" and "you do the maths", although I notice that he's amended that post, no doubt so that people reading the thread later won't understand to what I was taking exception.

Happy Monday!
