I am moving to Benidorm to work in September this year and would be grateful on advice as to setting up access to the internet, best providers, access to English TV, Netflicks , Prime etc

I also have Movistar internet which is very reliable. Not had any problems in 8 years.
I use tvmucho for all the usual UK TV again, no problems.
I can also recommend "John" who will set you up with a TV app (As mentioned by john123456)

I’m going to Benidorm for 8 weeks in January. The TV at the accommodation isn’t a smart TV. Does anyone know if I could hire a TV with UK channels or is there some other way to get the channels? Tha

If the accommodation has Internet you could download a TV app such as Tvmucho onto your laptop and watch TV directly from your laptop, computer or phone.
I've never heard of TV hire here in Benidorm.
