Great, should have been in place before now. We now need to educate the British tourists to wear masks as the law dictates and those that do wear them to do so properly. Any wonder infections are on increase on the area. Package holiday companies also need to do their bit as the number of Jet2 and TUI buses that pass by with passengers flaunting the rules.

Hi Ray,

The Valencian regional government said today, 26 November, that the health pass would be required for restaurants, bars and entertainment venues of over 50 people, as well as for nursing homes and hospital visits, but it is yet to be implemented, pending High Court approval.

Kind regards,

Kim

Can't see the relevance of 50. You are just as likely to catch it with 10-15 people in there. Wrong place wrong time. They say its only for 30 days and then no more restrictions though wait for easter and santa semana. A lot of people having problems loading the cert on their mobiles different types different mobile providers so there will be fun and games when people have to start cancelling Xmas things 😠

Hi Peacock,

They've had this requirement in France for some time.  When we were there a couple of weeks ago, we showed printed copies of our Covid vax certificates.  I'll download them to our mobiles if it's straightforward, but otherwise I'll just take a printed copy out with me - assuming the High Court confirms the requirement for C.Valenciana.

Kind regards,

Kim

It’s highly relevant - 50 people in a confined area vs 10-15 people in same area - larger number will mean closer proximity to others, and more chance of catching the/any virus

Depends on a lot of things. Only needs one who hasn't had the jab. Someone not wearing a mask at the table etc etc. I am sure majority of brits have had the jab and it's brits who book the majority all the Xmas festivities group bookings etc. Its them who could lose their celebrations if 50% occupancy comes back as those bookings made a while back and the bars suffer again. There are grinches in Spain too !

What's the relevance 9f "one who hasn't had the jab"?

These "jabs" don't stop you catching the plague, or passing it to someone else.

So why are they doing this to push people into having them if they won't protect?  A lot more have had them in the last few weeks due to threats of this happening. The courts in other areas refused it. The jab apparently has less protection for the new variants especially this new South African one. South Africa overcome with it.
