Hi, been in Benidorm about 4 years now and decided to buy a car to visit other areas of Spain and to drive through to the UK (via Santander ferry) to visit family and friends.
My question is...can anyone recommend a european breakdown company that will cover Spain, France, Portugal and the UK.

Before committing yourself, I'd check what your Spanish car insurance policy would cover.
We're with Liberty, and our policies include recovery to a garage of our choice in Spain, Portugal, Andorra and France.
They don't cover roadside assistance - for that we'd have to join RACE etc.
If you'd be happy with recovery only, you'd only need breakdown insurance for the UK.

I am with Eurobreakdown, although fortunately not had to use them yet so don't know what their service is like.

Many insurance companies in Spain will cover you in those countries also, like Zurich or Allianz.
