For the purposes of residency do a married couple have to have separate bank accounts or would a joint account suffice for proof of income

All our accounts are joint, both here and in the UK and we had no queries on this when we obtained our Residencia, just had to show our marriage certificate which didn't have to be translated or anything else and this was at Orihuela police station.

I agree with Cheryl's comments. All our accounts are joint here in Benidorm and in the UK.

Can anyone help me. If you get residencia do you have to live in Spain all the time. Or can you get residencia and be in UK for months at a time. I am in Spain about 8 times a year. Is it easy to get. Which solicitor would be a good price and how complicated. I only rent in UK. My mum and me are on Spain flat. Mum too ill now. So she doesn't travel at all. Work part time in UK at moment. Just bit worried about how many times can I go out to Spain after 31st Oct. If anyone has any ideas please do let me know. Thank you in advance
