I am looking to work for my UK company remotely here in the Benidorm area and wanted to know if anyone could recommend a good English speaking lawyer to deal with the visa etc

You have to apply for a visa from the Spanish consulate while you are still living in the UK. You cannot apply for a visa while you are living in Spain.

I still live and work in the UK but the link does not specifically refer to a working visa for remote working in Spain unfortunately

That'll be because there is no such visa.

If you become resident in Spain then you enter the Spanish tax system and pay your taxes into that system. Contact the Spanish Consulate and ask them what your options are for remote working.

You can freely work from home in Spain for a maximum of 90 days in 180, without any visa etc, basically you’re just visiting like anybody else. If you wish to do this for longer periods you will need to become resident in Spain, which entails substantial finances in the bank and/or regular income, and you will then be taxed as a Spanish taxpayer and not from the UK

Hi Nick I found this company recently and they appear to be up to date on the Visa situation for remote workers in Spain.

Hope that helps.
