Hope someone can help please - my son has been offered a fixed term contract in Ibiza (Apr-Sept incl). 

6) criminal record check for 5 yrs - he has just done his DBS but it doesn’t state it covers 5 yrs, also does it need to be translated into Spanish and if so where can he get that done please?

 7) medical certificate - does he just get a letter from his GP and again does it also need to be in Spanish? Will he need private health insurance for the duration of his stay (he will be an employee of a Spanish company). He’s applying for a work visa under the audio visual sector. Any help/advice would be great fully received. TIA

I suggest you read the reply to the post just before yours "Working visa recommendations...."

Your son cannot apply for a work visa for himself, only a prospective employer can do that.

BTW, it's not necessary to make repeat posts in different sections of the forum.

I wouldn't worry tbh because Ibiza generally seasonal most of it is cash in hand plus drinks and free entry to the bars, clubs and the other parties that's offered there. I have friends there and they love it, they are all legal but they have British colleagues who aren't and stay for the summer and go back. Although some people on here will tell you not to do that, it is what happens and will continue to do so

Hello and thank you for your comments. It’s a professional job with a professional organisation that’s why everything needs to be done properly. Nothing is cash in hand.  Post Brexit it’s all new to them. I’m going to ring the Spanish Consulate tomorrow to ask how it should all be done as time is off the essence.

You are going down the right route by doing things legally. Cash in hand and no contract is all very well until the police come calling. If you haven't already contacted the Spanish Embassy/Consulate the first link (below) should provide you with all the information your son needs. Good luck:
