Is the EHIC card the same as the E111 card
The EHIC took over from the E11 which gives non residents emergency health cover in an EU country. There is also a EHICE card which residents need to get after receiving residencia to receive emergency health cover back in UK as their original EHIC cards will have been cancelled when pensioners need to obtain their S1 from the UK to apply for residencia.
