Hi Pete, first intelligent advice I have read or heard to date. We have lived here for 30 years and I think if we are made to re-register our casa or re-apply for residency I might apply for 'Citizenship' What do you think.?

Regards Bill Jones.

This post that was quoted has been deleted.

I am English with UK Passport, but have lived in Switzerland for 11 years. As we're not part of the EU here, we HAVE to have Private Medical insurance - there is no NHS.......I don't know whether this will influence the European Union's deal when United Kingdom exit - I don't expect that free medical treatment across Europe will be allowed....... "nous verrons" as we say here ("we'll see!")

We just have to stay put really .This is not the concern of EU or British only. It has affected the whole world. It will make a big impact to us all.
