I'm staying in Benidorm from Monday for 3 or 4 days. I have to go in my van is there anywhere safe & free to park in the new town? I think my van is a little too tall for multi story or underground parking.

Thanks.

You may find it extremely difficult to park for free in the New Town at this time of year. The schools are on holiday and it seems that everybody and their dog has suddenly come to Benidorm.

Don't risk parking on an area that you think looks OK as the Policia Local are always keen to tow away which ends up expensive. Most areas are for residents only.

Thanks Steve,

I had my car towed last year so am eager to avoid it again :) hence the question. I don't mind paying I'm just a little concerned my van is too tall for the carparks and I don't want the hassle of having to remember to keep feeding the meters on the street.

I do not know if benidorm are a participating city but in some cities you can use an app and "feed the meter" from your home or bar or beach. Details and/or qr code will be on the meters.
