Sounds good cycling terrain, defo more climbs than Torrevieja. By the way, which surrounding areas do i look up for rentals near Benidorm? I imagine you mean small villages not far from Benidorm?

Cheers

No there are large towns surrounding it. Albir, Alfaz del Pi, Altea, La Nucía, La Villa Joiosa, La Cala, finstrat

Hi . Regardless of where you choose there are a growing number of privately run English language learning facilities in every large town. The Spanish are increasingly Keen to learn English, as many jobs here depend on the individual knowing English. So this maybe a way forward.

Hello, yes, very true. I have taught English for a while in Spain, it does seem in Torrevieja there are less possible vacancies than say Benidorm though

I live in Ontinyent and even in a relatively small town the number of private English acadamies is rising. So there is a growing market.
