Hi,
we went end of September and returned last weekend.
Leaving the UK we were asked at the check-in desk to show the completed Spanish Health form and proof of our vaccination status. We have hard copies of the vaccination status that we got from the NHS and we had the NHS app on our mobiles where we can show the digital vaccination certificate On arrival in Spain we had to show the QR code that you get with the completed Spanish Health form, we had a hardcopy and copies on our mobiles. No issues with entry into Spain at Alicante airport.
Note that as a visitor you now get your British passport stamped on arrival.
Returning to the UK we had to show the completed UK passenger locator form and evidence of a booked day2 test at check-in. No issues leaving Spain. In the UK (Heathrow) we went through the automatic gates, no delays and not stopped.
Our passports were not stamped when we left, according to BA this is the way they do it now? Anyhow I am keeping my boarding passes just in case.
Used Simplytestme for our day2 tests, £12. Tests at home when we arrived, took 15 minutes to validate the results after we entered them on-line, good service.
Rgds,
Aitch.
