It makes sense to book...........how can you compare current prices and what facilities are included etc?
You could be wandering around for hours trying to find availability and whatever else you are looking for & that is not fun on a hot day.

We are traveling all over spain so cannot say exactly when we will arrive .

I would use Booking.com the day before arrival.

Whilst it is of course a good idea to book in advance, if your plans are fluid this is not always possible. We spent most of our holidays just getting in the car and going wherever we fancied at the time, through France and Spain. I cannot remember ever not being able to get a room somewhere, this was part of the adventure! There were some adventures to which one would not wish to return, but they made good stories!

Remember the Benidorm Fiesta is on from the 10th - 15th November and the fancy dress day is the 16th so it will be busier than usual at this time of year.

Investigate Hotel / apartments Atlantida ,a very good budget hotel ,all rooms with seaviews right on the front line,Poniente end of Old Town,well worth a visit ,they may( or may not!) have vacancies,probably in between long let's,worth a try.
