If either of you are UK passport holders then you find it virtually impossible to find work legally here in Benidorm or Spain. 

To get work here in Spain you will need to have a work visa. To gain a work visa you will need to apply for and get a contracted work position then your prospective employer will need to apply for a work visa on your behalf 

All available work in Spain must be offered to an EU citizen first by law. If no-one is suitable for the job then it can be offered to a non EU citizen.

As tebo53 has advised unless you hold a EU/EEA or CH passport you will require a visa to work in Spain and be sponsored by an employer. This link explains visa requirements:
