looking to move from scotland to live my dream as a dj, i love to entertain ,ie karaoke, live music , or even mixing , i currently work in my local night club in fife called TRUTH, but also have a full time job during the day, if anyone can point me in the right direction , it would be greatly appreciated , baz
UK or EU passport?
If a UK passport holder then re think your dream, you will need an employer to apply for your visa and all jobs by law have to be offered to EU citizens first then the employer needs to show they cannot fill the job. The other option is to go autonomo (self employed) and that means even more hurdles and monthly expenses irrespective of if you are earning or not.

Afraid so Baz.....
As the other posters have answered, you will need to apply for a contracted work position and if successful the employer will need to apply for a work visa on your behalf from the Spanish consulate in the UK.
All available work must be offered to an EU citizen first by law.
So sorry mate, consequence of brexit!!!

The conquests of Brexit.
There may be hope IF there is a successful Scottish indi referendum AND a subsequent rejoining of the EU.
Gotta go, a flying pig just landed in my back garden and crashed into the pink elephant which turned up earlier!

do Metallica need a visa to come to Spain? They probably do so the original poster might be able to get the same "working visa". Have to line the gigs up in advance. Easy to get yourself out there thru social media now & emails.... Not to live here but for his DJing...
You have to start somewhere.
The easiest way for the op to live and work here is to marry an EU citizen and maybe thru his gigs he could meet him or her..
