I'm just planning everything and setting the wheels ready to go

Sorry to rain on your parade but unless you have a very specific skill set that someone is looking for then finding work in Spain is very very hard. The unemployment rate here before the pandemic was one of the highest in Europe, now it is higher still with many more Spanish people looking for work.

Perhaps in a couple of years things may improve but tbh I doubt it.

Good luck with your plans.

Hi, I live in Benidorm and can tell you that at the moment it's a ghost town. Due to Covid there has been thousands of people put out of work so there will be a lot of "waiting lists" for know workers to be re-employed when things pick up. There have been many bars and restaurants closed up over the past few months.

Hopefully in 2 years things will be more or less back to normal so think positive and keep an eye on this forum.

Hi. Not only would it be very difficult to find work but due to Brexit the rules for residency have changed. Without Spanish residency, you could only stay 3 months. I would recommend that you also check that you can meet all the requirements for Spanish residency before you move to Spain.
