Partner's son has lost his wallet in a taxi going to McDonald's tonight 19th of October 2019 paid the taxi driver but left his wallet with army ID and cards in it if found please return as soon as can please

Thanks there are coming home tomorrow and I don't think he'll have time to go now do you know if he can do everything when he gets home?

He won't have time to go to a 24 hour police station and find out about his very important documents? I think that would be quite high on my list of priorities. Has he at least called the taxi firm to see if the driver has handed it in?
