Before it becomes a slagging match can I be the voice of reason? Because you are both right and both wrong. Kaneda I do 100% agree with you about house prices and I proved to Steve it is cheaper outside of Benidorm, also it's full of disrespectful Brits.

However Steve is also 100% right about the public transport, although I never used it, there is very frequent buses around the town and it's always possible to change at the bus station and go further a field, most buses only stop on main streets to reduce congestion. Also your Landlord has no le...

It really depends on what sort of people the the OP and his wife are and what sort of lifestyle they want. Personally I would always recommend living outside of Benidorm like Albir because you can get very good accommodation and be away from the craziness of summer time Benidorm but still be close enough to able to go there and enjoy it.

Thank you Martyn for your reasonable reply.

I'm not interested at all in what Kaneda thinks as we all have an opinion and want different lifestyles.

I live in the quieter edge of Benidorm and don't get much noise from drunken Brits/German/French/Spanish holidaymakers.

Kaneda must have wanted to live in Benidorm at one time and think that €650 was reasonable rent for that area he was living etc, etc.

Each to their own.
