Visiting other places
We would like to go to visit Javea. Does anyone know of any travel restrictions relating to travelling to other places in Spain?

Hi James,
It's OK for you to visit Javea during the week, but Benidorm is one of the towns that is subject to restricted movement during weekends, so you cannot leave or enter Benidorm between 3pm on Fridays and 6am on Mondays. This restriction is currently in place until 1 March - see attached.
Kind regards,
Kim

Can I suggest that you keep an eye on the N332 Facebook page which has been keeping us up to date with the rules and regulations in respect of the virus since last March. The page and their website (which deals with anything to do with driving in Spain) are run in collaboration with officers of the Guardia Civil for English speaking people.

2. Family/social gatherings in private houses are restricted to those from the same household.
3. Meetings in the street or in enclosed spaces are limited to a single household or a maximum of two people if they are not from the same household.
4. 15 municipalities with more than 50,000 inhabitants, including ORIHUELA, are confined during weekends and public holidays.
5. The perimeter confinement of the whole Valencian Community and the curfew from 22:00 till 6:00 is maintained.

Hi GRO1,
No, that would be essential travel; however, if you're not driving yourself, I understand you have to take a taxi - ensure you have proof of your flight easily to hand, in case you're stopped by the police en route.
Kind regards,
Kim
