Hi Tracey
We are supposed to be driving down in 5 weeks, although I have decided to do Calais to Villamartin in one go rather than overnight due to covid issues.

We returned last weekend, never got checked at any borders both in France or Spain on either going or return, never asked to fill in location form on return to UK.
We stayed in a Hotel in Zaragoza, had 2 overnights in France.
Masks to be worn as in Uk.

Definitely NOT. The whole territory* is "locked" and cannot be entered or left. You are allowed to drive on motorways with no stopovers whatsoever. This situation - as I see it - will be extended gradually to all over Spain. You better carry as much petrol as possible and enough food and drink for the whole Spanish leg of your journey. I would recommend the Mediterranian route (Barcelona-Perpignan).
*At this instant locked down territories are Aragon, Pais Vasco, Castilla Leon, Castilla-La Mancha

Left Saturday morning to drive back to Uk through France to eurotunnel. No problems except France has a 9pm to 6am curfew so you need to stop at a hotel between those times. Most places are open and you can still get petrol and takeaway food. Stay safe
