Hi there dog people,
Barney (my Shih tzu) and I left the UK to live in Cumbre del Sol last Monday. He had a lot of doggie and human friends where we came from and he's looking a bit depressed. I would love to know if there are any 'walks' we could go to where he could make new friends, or if anyone would be happy having us walk with them now and again? Thank you🐶

Welcome to the forum.
You could try asking Akira animal sanctuary. They’re sometimes looking for volunteer dog walkers. You could ask and see if you could walk for them and take Barney with you 🤪🥂

I will call them... I wanted to do some volunteering anyway. I don't have a car at the moment so am a bit stuck for the time being but will sort something out shortly.

I do love a Mercadona but not sure where everything is yet and yes can you imagine riding my bike up the hill laden with bottles of wine🤪. Don't know where Golden Valley is yet...so need to get a car. Hope you have a good journey out and fully understand why you can't wait to get here. Barney settling in a bit more now and met my neighbours who gave him a fuss...he just loves attention....think I'm boring him😁
