Hi,  any recommendations for getting my air-con serviced please?   Ideally english speaking because my technical spanish isnt good enough yet!!

Just clean your filters on the indoor unit every 4 weeks of use with a vacuum cleaner hose and that is all you need unless he unit has a leak of freon Gas. That Gas should never leak unless the installation is a bad one.

it is a new build less than 3 years ago and is a unit on the roof that vents air through trunking into house.   I havent a scoobie what I am doing!! LOL!

just look for the return, You will have several outlets and one unit in the ceiling. the unit in the ceiling will have a hatch / access to the indoor unit. This will have a filter about 30 cm x 100cm like mesh.  Hoover it or wash it with soapy water and allow to dry. A/C servicing is a massive money racket . Believe me as I am an A/C engineer .
