We have our T.V with Avatel . We are back out in Spain now but cannot get ITV or any music channels . Does anyone else have the same problem and if so what did you do to sort it out . Thanks for any helpful info .

Hi 

There have been a few other posts on this subject recently, but I haven't seen a solution.

I suggest you pop into their office at La Zenia Boulevard, opposite AlCampo.

You could try phoning first, but calls are often ignored because they're busy! Or try accessing your account online https://www.avatel.es/area-de-clientes/

Hi Steve .

Thanks for your reply . I have read previous messages saying they went into the La Zenia office and were told they had to contact them by phone as the office people said they couldn’t deal with it there . Also they have messaged me saying their bank account has changed and that I need to change their account we pay to. Does that sound correct as I am a little suspicious ?

Hi 

The message about bank accounts is genuine, but it can be misunderstood!

Avatel recently finalised their takeover of VegaFibra. This involves the closing of the VegaFibra bank account, so VF customers now have to pay to the Avatel account instead. If you have nothing to do with VF, then there's no need to do anything. The email doesn't really explain this and there is somebody else on this forum who cancelled their DD to Avatel in error.

Did you originally sign up to VF?

Hi JH66, I am also with Avatel, regarding itv channel , you have to retune it to itv HD also same with bbc , there was a note in the channels saying to do this , but if people are away they didn’t see it . Some channels have been taken off like itv4 . If you are with Avatel initially and not Vega Fibre you DD will be the same . Mine has been ok and I done nothing.

Hi there I have not been out recently and sounds like I will need to retune some channels - do you have a TV guide with your package?

I have loads of channels but no way of seeing what's on next.
