Jan and Feb aren't the wet season as one person says ..they are sunny and crisp out of the shade and cool in the evening...

Go and see The Cages live ..they play 5 times a week at the host of Irish bars in that area .

Hi Phil,

First, thanks so much for the information and sorry for the late reply. We have a small car booked and we really like getting out to see things, so it will be fun to explore the area. It's very exciting for you, going out on a 1 way ticket and fair dues on fixing up your own place. Great to have ...

...the skills! I'm sure Torrevieja will be on our itinerary but not quite sure when exactly. We'll play it by ear. Wishing your every success on your move and once thanks again for the help!

It may help you to have a look at the N332 website as it is for English speaking people and deals with anything to do with driving in Spain.   The site, and their Facebook page, is run in collaboration with officers of the Guardia Civil and has an English version of the Spanish equivalent of the Highway Code on it.

Quick question: If someone with an Indian-sounding name popped up & began asking for advice on where to go, what to do, etc...would people just recommend curry houses?

Bit racist assuming the OP just wants to drink Guinness all day in Ma O'Flannahanratty's Craic Bar, isn't it, guys?

Come on...it's almost 2024.

Be better...

Steady on Stan, seeing as the OP asked "Is there a must-not-miss Irish bar? :-)", I'd hazard a guess that the helpful recommendations are specifically in response to this and their have been other recommendations and travelling info posted

These days there always seems to be someone who's offended on behalf of somebody else
