Wow, that was a big risk mate but I suppose they would say, well we got away with it, would have been very costly had they been pulled.

I bought 400 cigarettes as a present for my mom 200 split between me and my husband and they were €81 at Alicante airport last week
Can’t remember how much we paid at the tobacconist before but my husband said it was more

We rarely buy duty free anything these days unless they have an excellent special. Most prices are cheaper locally ..in Sydney & here in our town in Spain. Alcohol prices last month, we could see was cheaper in Mercadona
and for those complaining about the allowance for cigarettes, be grateful you aren’t flying to Aus! …. 😂

You can bring in up to 1.5 kilograms of smokeless tobacco for personal use. You will pay duty on any tobacco above 25 grams.
