We rarely buy duty free anything these days unless they have an excellent special. Most prices are cheaper locally ..in Sydney & here in our town in Spain. Alcohol prices last month, we could see was cheaper in Mercadona
and for those complaining about the allowance for cigarettes, be grateful you aren’t flying to Aus! …. 😂
Tobacco
If you are aged 18 years or over you can bring:
- one unopen packet of up to 25 cigarettes (or the equivalent of 25 grams of tobacco products), and
- one open packet of cigarettes.
You can bring in up to 1.5 kilograms of smokeless tobacco for personal use. You will pay duty on any tobacco above 25 grams.
