Getting about in Cabo Roig

Hi everyone

I'm over in CR having recently bought my holiday home near to Capitan and La Zenia beach . Absolutely loving the beaches and area. I would like advice on following please and thanks in advance !!

The supermarket is a good 15 mins walk so finding it difficult to transport heavy shopping in current temperature . Do any deliver for the heavy items .

Because of above , looking to hire a car . Can anyone recommend good hire firm . Would prefer to use local transport but have yet to see a bus !

I've read about the 'new train ' on here . Could someone tell me what this is . I see it stops near La Zenia hotel area which would be good for us .

We are finding taxis difficult to get : have rang a firm but they don't turn up . My daughters like the strip at night but there's usually a wait in the taxi rank too.

We are walking everywhere . From our house , the strip is 20 mins walk , the above beaches are 5 mins . How far is Cabo Roig marina to walk from these areas and are there buses connecting the two .

We have found the strip and the beaches . Are there any other tourist areas in Cabo Roig with shops (other than la Zenia shopping centre )

Hi Jenny I saw the train yesterday as it was leaving la Zenia boulevard. It travels along that part of the coast and costs 3euros. Think it is only for the summer though,
