Hi Suze
Welcome to the forum
Lots of information, at the top of this page, in the blue banner “ Spain Tips and Guides”
As a retiree, your starting point for living permanently would be a NLV (non lucrative visa). Due to the current covid crisis, there’s not yet much information on the forum, as people are unlikely to have been able to start the process.
Elinspain posted a link to a website recently, but I can’t find it at the moment. Try Google as a starter 🤪🥂

If you want to live in Spain permanently you will need to apply initially to the Spanish embassy while you are still living in the UK.
You will need to apply for a Visa and be able to fulfill the requirements needed for annual income and healthcare.

I haven't got a link at the moment but the income requirements are that you will need to prove your income to be €27,115.20 per annum for the first person and €6,778.80 for each additional person.
You will need to prove that you have full healthcare paid for a full year.
