Are there any companies that help with moving from uk please? Or any recommended solicitors that could help?

We are So confused...have read we may need £26K in the bank as we won't be able to have an income to make the £2k+ a month. Have also read that we could need double that until year 5, which we can't do easily as we want to retire and use our savings if we need to, to supplement hubby's uk pension.

However, I am 10 years younger and understand I can't get a job?

We would have to sell our uk house to move. I have read some reports that we will have to pay scary taxes if we do this? Spain would be our only residence.

Any comments or recommendations welcome x

This thread goes on a bit, but it has good info, and the answers to your visa questions.

Spanish Consulate Update - application and income requirements, post Brexit - confirmation, Non-Lucrative Visa.

There are links to the various visa options at the top of the thread. There are also names of some solicitors (page 6 I think).

You need to be careful with the timing of the sale of your UK house, if you want to avoid paying CGT.

When you have digested the first thread, come back to check your understanding, then ask about Spanish tax-residency, key dates and CGT
