Hi - we have been advised that there is a certain type of air con unit that can be also used to warm apartment in the winter and has an economy setting to stop it being too expensive to run? Please can you let me know the name/type of unit this is and if there is a place in or near Cabo Roig that instals them (and a rough idea of how much they cost)?

It's an Inverter aircon unit you need for warm air in winter and cool air in summer, like the UK the price of electricity has increased significantly here in Spain, so I am unable to be precise over running costs depends on usage.
We use BMT Construction call or WhatsApp Gary on 602596492 he is coming round to do a winter service on our aircon next week.
He is very busy so if you are interested you will need to get in touch with him asap. We have never had a problem with the Panasonic aircon we had fitted 5 years ago, we do have it regularly serviced by Gary last time he did a service it was €35.

We used Jon Wing, he lives just up the road in Villamartin.
He fitted units in both bedrooms for us €550 each unit and they have been excellent.
He is on WhatsApp and as the above post suggests maybe do all the chatting before you go to Spain and arrange fitting for early in your stay.
