Hi
I’ve just moved from th UK & need some general advice before I look for work - do I need my Residencia in place, plus do I need Residencia to open a bank account here?

Do you intend staying here in excess of 90 days? If yes, then you must sign the register of foreigners now (often wrongly referred to as "Residencia"). For further information look here-

You can open a Bank account with your passport but are better advised to wait until you are a Resident.
