Any suggestions re private health care and cost. Just moved from Ireland. Need to see a few consultants here. Will that work against me here if I take out medical insurance if not what is the best cover.

Pre-existing conditions must be declared when taking out private health insurance (PHI). This can influence costs and availability of insurance.
Most PHI policies will not accept claims immediately after sign-up. There is usually a a qualifying period (of a few months to a year).
