Ha anyone heard of Solar Electricity Panels catching fire?
Having installed 28 units on the roof of my house two years ago I am a little concerned.

Hi Mike, this depends on the type of panels and their positioning. Generally speaking, the risk is virtually non-existent in the Mediterranean as long as the panels are not flat but they stand at an angle (this means that the wind from the sea cools them down). Panels can catch fire but AFAIK this only happens in places like inland Australia.
