Hi everyone can anyone tell me roughly how long after seeing anesthetist for operation for cataract removal tia

Usually you get anesthesia 30 mins. before being operated. I had this a few months ago-

My missus saw the anaesthetist around 3 weeks before the op, if that's what you mean.

Hi Steve thanks for that I saw the anesthetist on Thursday to sign for the operation but he couldn't tell me roughly how long it would be

So did I, this is standard practice in Spain for any operations  needing local anaesthetic, at least that is my experience at Elche University Hospital.
