It's the earth leakage breaker that's tripping, which means that the current going into the oven isn't the same as that coming out.

Whilst it could just be a problem with the switch or wiring etc, it's more likely that one of the elements has a fault allowing the current to go to earth.

If the oven has different settings - grill, fan oven etc, you could try setting the control knob to each in turn, with the Cocina circuit breaker in the off position, then turning that on, and see if the earth leakage breaker always trips. I'd expect it to only trip in certain positions, but that all depends on how the oven is wired. This might help to isolate the fault.

I'd also try with the light turned off, and the thermostat in off/medium/ and high settings.

Hi Jackie, had the same problem and it was the oven at fault, not worth repairing and I would recommend Euronics for a replacement as they will install and take old oven away, that's instore not online.

Hi Andy. Doesn鈥檛 sound good! I will certainly try Euronics if I need a new oven when I go over in January.

Thank you. Jackie.
