many thanks for the info. yes the Dyson is good. have the same AC/heater as you do but the electric meter does go around when it is used.
i seem to be lucky and have a good heater which is quite old and actually bought it in Bahrain some years ago (think 12) and it has served me faithfully. dont get a dry throat with it. also have the central heating. the big outside bottle costs some E170 to fill and lasts just over a month. will be filling it next week and this will be it. there will be left over for next winter in the event i am still here.
