I have found the best way of killing off a wasp nest is WD40, one spray and it is dead and also the wasps. If you buy the bigger can with the attached straw it gives you a bit more room away from the nest.

I buy spray from the piensos and use a back pack sprayer. This has enough power for me to reach under the solar pannels and under the edge of the house roof.

I also stick the spray down the hole of ant nests.

I start to spray about March and then at least once a week and this year we have far fewer than our neighbours.
