We have nothing but trouble(lately, been with them 12 years now), talking around the village it seems to be the same but people are just resigning themselves too "what do you expect this is Spain".
We had 10Mb service but the speeds were constantly dropping to around 4Mb and internet outages, nearly every dat. We were told by Telfy that if we upgraded to 30Mb package which included a new router all our problems would be resolved! We duly upgraded, Tely replace the Wimax dish with a scruffy second hand one and put in a new dual band router. The outages are still the same but the download speeds now range from 10Mb to 25Mb.
So we now pay more, still have outages like most the the people in Catral and still do not get the speed we are paying for!!!
Telfy are fast to respond to the initial call and an engineer arrives. However, when the engineer cannot resolve the issue Telfy then just do not follow up. Its now been 2 weeks since the engineer last visited, we still have the problems - Telfy just do not follow up.
This is now an issue across Catral, the consensus seems to be that Telfy are just a bit rubbish but everyone seems to just shrug it off as theres no one better.
I will be reducing the service cost back to the basic one as we are not getting what we paid for!!!!
