Who is the best internet provider in Catral - Page 2

We have nothing but trouble(lately, been with them 12 years now), talking around the village it seems to be the same but people are just resigning themselves too "what do you expect this is Spain".

We had 10Mb service but the speeds were constantly dropping to around 4Mb and internet outages, nearly every dat.  We were told by Telfy that if we upgraded to 30Mb package which included a new router all our problems would be resolved!  We duly upgraded, Tely replace the Wimax dish with a scruffy second hand one and put in a new dual band router.  The outages are still the same but the download speeds now range from 10Mb to 25Mb.

So we now pay more, still have outages like most the the people in Catral and still do not get the speed we are paying for!!!

Telfy are fast to respond to the initial call and an engineer arrives.  However, when the engineer cannot resolve the issue Telfy then just do not follow up.  Its now been 2 weeks since the engineer last visited, we still have the problems - Telfy just do not follow up.

This is now an issue across Catral, the consensus seems to be that Telfy are just a bit rubbish but everyone seems to just shrug it off as theres no one better.

I will be reducing the service cost back to the basic one as we are not getting what we paid for!!!!

I really need an alternative but thanks for you feedback.  You are in the minority but again thanks.

Obviously you have not bothered to read ALL the comments, if you had then you would realize that it is YOU that is in the minority as all the other comments for Telfy are complimentary, so your statement that "It is an issue across Catral" is clearly wrong. Do you work for a competitor of Telfy?

I think you will find those that are not happy just don’t shout about it in hear like YOU

You cannot use a limit online forum as the benchmark, that would be silly 😂😂

Looks like I will be going with AEROMAX who confirm I’m my area you cannot get above 25Mbps so Telfy even sold me a package they just not deliver on anyway!  All the speed test confirm this too

Hello where did you  spring from? If your profile is correct and you do live on the Orihuela Costa I would have to say that it is YOU who needs to keep out of it. Unlike you I have lived in Catral many years I know many people in the village and have yet to hear anything derogatory about Telfy. When you say that he does not work for a competitor you must know each other and looking at your profile picture and the business you are in the penny begins to drop and I understand why you have an axe to grind.

Again 2+2 makes 5 too many busy bodies in this world

Not sure why you are shouting at people and insisting as you have been in Catral a little while that your opinion is better than anyone else’s.  All views are relevant welcome so I suggest you stop try to close people down - it’s not a nice thing to do

You find most go to skynet link.  However, having just moved from them because ot unreliability and poor service my advice is to stay clear of skynet link.  I have moved to AREOMAX and could not be happier.  Speed in download and upload is far better than skynet link and the most importantly it is relaible!!
