some members of My family flew from Alicante to Manchester on Tuesday , we used Atruchecks, (where you can find on line) for the day 2 and 8 tests, £99/ plus £9.99 shipping, no problem at Manchester . Just to note the border control bods where knocking on the door Wednesday to check they were isolating.

I will be going back to the UK soon and need an antigen test. Is there anywhere near Catral where I can get it done? Thanks

Sorry I cannot advise of a provider in Catral but we tried yesterday (Friday 9 Jul) to book a test at the El Raso Farmacia for 23 July. Earliest they could do was 26 July! So booked on-line with IMED Elche - extremely quick and easy process with appointments available exactly when we wanted them. Just hope it is as simple when we turn up there!!

I used IMED the clinic in Teulada, and it was fine. It was accepted at Alicante and by EasyJet and also by Luton Airport where I had an extra check as the digital gates weren’t working. IMED are really efficient too and I got the test results in about half an hour. The airport weren’t too keen on just the text but IMED send you an email which has a downloadable certificate with a QR code which worked perfectly.

Hi IMED at Murcia or Elche might be better for you - they all seem good and efficient

We came back to the UK yesterday all you need is a Antigen test. UK locator form which will ask what PCR test you've booked in the UKan ref number. Spanish side want to see Antigen test result and also scan your UK locator form. At UK passport control you just show your passport as when they scan it, it comes up with Antigen test result.

Ah that sounds better. Excuse my ignorance but what is a antigen test. Like our lateral flow? Is that a chemist purchase ?
