It certainly gets cold in the winter and, as the majority of Spanish houses don't have central heating, you'd notice it far more here than in the UK.
There has been snow there this year already. It won't happen often but even without the snow the evenings will feel very cold. I won't bore you with all the improvements we have had to make to our villa to make it warm and eliminate rising damp and mould and we are only 150 m above sea level, Cocenteina is 430 m.
