Hi, there is a wonderful British gypsum product called gyp bond, you roll it on leave it for 24hrs and then you can apply plaster, tile or plasterboard. I would highly recommend this product, not sure of its availability in Spain but obviously available in the uk.

We had this in our bedroom. We put plastic down on the floor then scrubbed the wall with hot water and a soft to medium brush.

When it was thoroughly dry we pvad it (diluted) then painted it.

Absolutely fine.  Bit messy but not dusty and on a nice dry day with low humidity all ok

Thanks but dotting and dabbing plaster board over it is not a solution and will create more problems than it will solve.

I don't see why it is so hard to sand the bumps down to a flat surface and then paint it, apart from being a bit messy.

What are the problems that may be caused buy applying Plasterboard please

You suggest it may cause problems.

What are they

Perhaps I should have explained better. The hot water dissolved the goteleo stuff and we were left with a smooth wall which we pvad with a diluted mix then just emulsions it. Guy in Brochacolor suggested this method.
