Hi Thanks but the QR Code download has just  disappeared from my phone but I do have printed copies which the web site said would be ok,

I’m sure you will be okay with the printed QR code.

When you completed & submitted the SPTH locator form you should have received an email from “spaintravelhealth” with the QR code attached so you should still have access to it.

In addition to the checks at Gatwick, when we arrived at Alicante airport in early August there were desks set up in the baggage collection hall where representatives checked vaccination proof (or negative test results for those without vaccination proof) and the Passenger Locator Forms. Travellers were presenting the documentation via. either mobile phone or paper format.

Printed version is easier to show rather than the phone one, as you gave the paper one o hnd but have to get your phone on to show its version. Less cause for hassle with the paper version

Does anyone know if you need an antigen test to enter to Spain if you have had no jabs at all?

I understand that a PCR or antigen test is still required for those unable to present vaccine or prior recovery evidence (within specific timescales prior to arrival in Spain).

The PCR test must be carried out no more than 72 hours prior to arrival or if an antigen test, no more than 24 hours prior to arrival.

It is no longer a requirement to complete the SpTH form nor present the associated QR code.

We travelled to Spain from UK and arrived back yesterday.  We used www.0covidclear.com to get a covid 19 travel certificate. It is £9.99 and works perfectly.  You just do your test at home and upload the negative result 72 hours before you fly. They email the certificate 24 hours later.

Extremely easy company to deal with and I know lots of people that use this service regularly.  Hope that helps.

I'm not jabbed. I got a pcr test for travel done 48 hrs before going to Spain. I filled in the Spanish health declaration form and printed it out 48 hrs before also. Both my test and health declaration form were checked in the airport when I landed by, i kid you not , men in white coats. You need nothing when returning to the UK.

You do if you are unvaccinated or can prove you've had covid within 6 months of going there. That was the rule in place in September

All travellers

If you are travelling from the UK to Spain you must show valid proof of one of the following upon entry:

These requirements do not apply to children under 12 years old. See ‘Children and young people’

You are no longer required to complete a health control form prior to travel. This applies to both vaccinated and unvaccinated travellers.

You may be subject to additional checks at the point of entry including a temperature check, visual health assessment, or testing
