So tell me, have you just taken 10 x 3kw electric fires to the eco park and changed over to gas ?

I'm also with Iberdrola. My December forecast is 83 Euros. The dearest was July and August with the aircon, but was 120 and 130 respectively. I have a 3 bed villa with pool. With figures as low as 67 plus the 2 Jul and Aug, my average over 12 months is 95 Euros per month. That's pool. electric water heating, air con, multiple tv's etc. NO GAS.

My last 2 bills have been unbelievably low. Just waiting for the huge (oh we made a mistake) bill to arrive 😂😂😂

Fingers crossed. Although I am with them online and check regularly. We have actually reduced our consumption by using the time bands.

Hi swc,

Do you have one of Iberdrola's plans, e.g. Plan Noche or Plan 8?

Iberdrola is honouring plans until their contracted expiry dates, so it seems that those of us who had one prior to the price hikes (I have Plan Noche) are protected from these large bills - at least, until our plans expire.

Kind regards,

Kim

I got my monthly electricity bill this morning and I'm extremely happy with it. (Around €30) It was cheaper than I expected.  I am not on any particular plan. I am in an apartment with all the usual appliances. My monthly electricity bill is usually between €30 to €45.

Thanks swc.  Good to see, although when I have to sign up for a new plan, I expect the rate per KW will be higher.  I certainly won't be rushing off to change suppliers - there have been several resellers go bust in the UK and if they have similar problems here in Spain, I don't know whether consumers have the same level of supply protection here as they do in the UK 🤔

Also, when friends of ours moved from Iberdrola to a reseller, they were induced by a low monthly budget plan payment, only to find that the end of year reconciliation resulted in a large final bill, so they've moved back to Iberdrola.

Kind regards,

Kim
