My choice would be Republic in the Marina de Denia. Overlooks the Marina with stunning views to the town and castle. Quite expensive though but for a special occasion is terrific. Or Basta beside it. Free parking in the Marina.
On the beach just 400m north of the other marina you have Casa Federico, nice place to have lunch and a stroll. Free parking on the beach beside it.

Hope it doesn't disappoint Andy. Google map it though, because theres two Marinas. The one in the town where the ferry port is and the one where Republic is, which is about half a mile south of the town promenade.
