Looking to buy some nice, reasonable quality but not too expensive crockery for a house for 8 people, it will be used for holiday lets so want to easily replace the odd broken plate - any recommendations? thanks

I would suggest you take a look at Casa. They have a shop on the main dual road from Denia to Ondara, also another in the Ondara shopping mall.

If you have a large Carrefour or Al Campo near you they sell various types and prices of crockery.

I'd agree with this. Carrefour in the Portal de la Marina Mall on the N332 at Ondara would be the obvious place to look for rental standard crockery. There's no guarantee that the same design will be available in 12 or 24 months though, perhaps buy an extra setting for replacements....
