Hi has anyone got recommendations for a broadband supplier in Denia please?  We only spend in total around 3 months in Spain but would like to be able to access the internet and online TV channels when there.  if there was a "switch on / switch off" that would be great but I presume that I would have to pay for 12 months to get a good unlimited deal. We are in a community and I assume that it is pre-wired for telephones etc as I was wired for TV & satellite.

Thanks in anticipation.

Hi,

I asked Jamie Thompson of ProSat about a part-time (months) service but he only does 12-month contracts. However, a freind told me that Teletec in Moraira is more flexible. There are so many people that want only a few months - the service providers should cop on!

Hi,

For the internet you can´t beat PCStar (608 075 896). English spoken. They charge €20 per month for whole or part months. Just pay as you go. You can pay in the shop or via standing order monthly, quarterly, annually. They would need to visit and make sure they can install a dish etc. Small charge for the dish.

For British TV try 620 130 292. British guy can advise. Again you can get Freeview (with another dish) and a set top box.

We visit Denia 4 or 5 times a year and use PC Star (near to Casa de Cultura).  They are excellent and following installation charges we pay Euros 20 per month when we are there.  They are excellent and definitely recommend them.

Thanks everyone - PC Star seem to be highly thought of - my only concern is the speed as the main requirement is to be able to watch Netflix & other on line TV channels without buffering - how does the system perform for these purposes please?

We watch Netflix without any problems.  Hope this helps.

We've just had an installation from TeleCable ( [email protected] ) fibre to the router, very fast ( slowest is 600mbps ) and we can turn it on and off as needed. Plus its very competitivly priced.
