Hi, need to buy beds, sofa, armchairs, glass fronted cabinet, terrace and garden furniture and smaller bits like cushions, side tables, bedroom lockers, hall console, lights.
Will have a car but would prefer to bury more locally rather than Alicante or Valencia. Would appreciate advice.

There are shops in Denia itself and several on the main road out of Denia just past the Crematorium and Macdonald's (pun intended!) on the dual carriageway.
There are a couple of good kitchen type shops in the Portal de Marina shopping centre on the N332 at Ondara too. Casa is good for kitchen/dining, JYSK are in there too. There are some good furniture shops in Ondara too, easy to park and walk around.

There are literally dozens of furniture and household goods stores on either side of the main road into Denia, the CV725, that's the retail street with all the car showrooms too. Casa on that street is good for smaller household items. There's a very good lighting shop called Juvi Iluminacion next to Casa.
There are several good stores in the out of town shopping centre Portal de Marina close to the motorway junction outside Denia including Jysk, a sort of poor man's IKEA, which has all sorts of furniture and household goods. There are also two big Chinese bazaar stores on the complex outside the shopping centre where you can get many different household items. Leroy Merlin on the same complex has a big range of garden furniture.
If you want to go upmarket for sofas and chairs, pay a visit to English run Harris Furniture in Pedreguer, a bit pricey but very good quality.
