If you remember the UK changed the testing to antigen and no pretravel tests, as they have done again now, I think around the beginning of October last year.

Yes, antigen travel testing in the UK quite a bit cheaper than the most reliable of the home PCR tests, which are around £45.

For anyone who is looking to buy - SimplyTestMe are currently advertising day2 lateral flow tests for £12. I was recommended them on here. Though they are not on (or were not) on the UK Gov recommended list they did have good trustpilot ratings. Could not fault the service.

I don’t think Jack realised that the thread was from an original post pre rule changes, but he is correct in stating that no tests are required now for flying to the UK.

only trying to help and advise ,as I travel from the UK to Spain at least 5 times a year even in the pandemdemic which cost me £400 a time for tests one going one coming back!
