Without going into details I can assure anybody visiting this topic that SEUR are the most incompetent bunch of uselessness when it comes to delivering packages here in Spain. Stand well clear of them and insist upon any other carrier service to deliver your goods

I see that they are part of the DPD group....which I have a lot of experience receiving packages in France, in various states. ... I received an apology for ebay confirming what I had already told them and they confirmed that the error was a Global shipping companies error who had delivered the item late and updated the tracking before I received the item. In France I prefer to try and get things delivered to a local shop... if the packages arrived damaged they refuse to accept them...so it avoids all the battle as to who was responsible for what.. But sadly it's always possible to choose our favourite or rather slightly better courrier service !

I am afraid what you are experiencing seems to be the norm. It does not matter which carrier your stuff is coming by, they are all as useless as each other.

If you live in a built up area near to or part of a town you seem to stand a better chance of getting a delivery. Where I live is out in the country and quite honestly they can't be bothered to try to find the place and I only live 500m from a main motorway.

More often than not I get the usual excuses like 'we tried but no one was in' (I am very seldom out) so I re-schedule and the same keeps happening. I was even told by Seur that my address did not exist. Last time I went to their yard in Villena and collected the packet and took them a map to show where I lived which was a total waste of time, they just shrugged.

I now ask for my GPS to go on the label, but I am not even certain they know what that is.

You will be able to tell I am not impressed with their services. Good luck.

Sadly it seems to be a problem everywhere..our holiday home is pretty close to a town...and has some major buildings nearby which they can't miss...but it does seem to be an issue of not bothering to either read the instructions we've put on our order, or actually use GPS...Saying that we've have some WONDERFUL Parisian taxi drivers...who don't seem to know where to go!! (We had a lovely experience of one guy doing about 70kmp and driving us  into an apartment complex car park...(we were meant to be on the motorway)... seems there's a lot of people who just can't be bothered using technology which would make their lives (and ours) much simpler... I ordered some white goods which arrived yesterday.... on time... but they also couldn't find me......so I gave me the instructions from where they were : literally drive straight for 400 metres and turn right...instead they turned up at speed driving down (the wrong way) a one way street.... there's a point when you have to give up!!

We ordered an item from Notonthehighstreet online on a Friday afternoon, it was sent to Spain via Royal Mail and was delivered by Correos before lunchtime on the following Wednesday.

Considering there had been a weekend in between I think that is pretty good, not sure we would have got it much quicker had we been in the UK.

That must be an all time record. It's never happened that way for me.

Yes sounds exactly like their French compatriots...who often just fling the things over the 2 metre gate...regardless of whether or what's in the package...it seems whilst there's no consequences there's no change!
