I've received the notice below from our town hall - it will appear on the Facebook site for Formentera del Segura Ayuntamiento later today.

IMPORTANT NOTIFICATION

The council of Formentera del Segura hereby informs residents that, due to the current situation with Covid-19 and in order to avoid further spread of this disease, it is now required to make an appointment before visiting the council.

Call the general number: 966 792 301 and state your name and the department you want.

The foreigners' liasion officer, Denise Ulendorp, is at the council every Monday from 9.15am to 2.00pm and at Los Palacios on Tuesdays from 9.15 to 10.30am to help you with the language barrier and paperwork (by appointment only).  You can also email to: interprete@formenteradelsegura.es but this email is attended on Mondays only when the Foreign Resident Office is open.

If you have a digital signature (firma digital) most of the services you require can be done online at the SEDE ELECTRONICA on the website www.formenteradelsegura.es

We apologise for the inconvenience caused and ask for your understanding that this is to try and keep everybody safe.

When you attend your appointment, remember that you are requested to abide strictly by the rules laid down by the Sanitary Department, such as:

-  wear a face mask (mandatory) and NO gloves,

-  wash your hands before coming in and use the sanitiser provided by the council at the town hall entrance,

-  only 1 person allowed at a time.
